Woolly Worm Festival & Olive - 3 months & The Release of Sugar

We all were excited to go to Banner Elk, NC for the Woolly Worm Festival!  Lily and Sam each raced a worm while Olive cheered them on! :)  Thankfully it was the warmest festival we had been to.

We were glad that Mingy and Dat joined us for a fun day! :)

Olive...another month has flown by and you are 3 months old!!!

You are wearing size 2 diapers and mostly 3-6 month clothes (they are a little big but not by much...you are pretty long!).

You are so sweet and happy and love to "talk" to all of your family!  We all love watching you smile and coo, so you always have someone entertaining you!  However, you are very content to sit in your bouncy seat or play on your playmat by yourself.

We moved you to a 3 hour schedule (7am-7pm) at 11 weeks and that has made your day flow so much smoother!  The day we started your new schedule we put a lullaby cd on for you to listen to during naps and night and put your soft doll in bed with you.  That first night you went 9 hours (7pm-4am) to eat and then right back to sleep until 7am!  Unfortunately, that has not been the norm!!!!  You are definitely much different than Lily and Sam in regards to sleeping!  We think it is either your teeth or just that you are growing so fast you still need that nighttime feeding.

You are still attending BSF with me on Wednesday mornings.  Your new schedule works ok with BSF...I just feed you in the back of the sanctuary during lecture since you most always have a very loud blowout while you are nursing!!!!

Daddy has been taking Lily and Sam to school in the morning the second half of the month, which has been nice.  We are now walking for about 45 minutes in the afternoon before picking them up.  You do great in the Baby Bjorn, and I just love carrying you in it! :)

Going places doesn't bother you...in fact, you tend to do great out and about!

You are one very loved baby!!!!  You are such a blessing to us!!!!

After the rabbit hutch started deteriorating, Lily finally made the difficult decision of freeing Sugar our bunny.  Dat said his field would be a wonderful place for her to live, so we took her there before dinner.

Lily and Sam were very sweet saying their goodbyes to their pet, but they knew a rabbit would be so much happier hopping free instead of in a little cage.

Lily had a project of decorating a pumpkin and writing a biography about it.  She chose to decorate her pumpkin like Camo her lamb...while glueing cotton balls on it, some stuck to her hand which prompted old man hand people with beards!
