We all were in need of an outdoor day...the kiddos really needed to expend some energy, so we asked Dat if we could have a picnic at his cabin. Mingy offered some bologna to fry on the stove, so we packed a few things and headed over. The hike up to the cabin is super steep!
The first thing the kids did was climb up the ladder to the loft and get on the cot. They were playing "Little House on the Praire".
The bologna sandwiches were a hit...frying the bologna in a skillet on a wood burning stove in the cabin makes it even better!
